Position: CASA CLASSROOM TEACHER
1 (full-time) position available
(NOTE - This position will be automatic surplused at the end of the 2026/27 school year.)

The Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board is seeking one (1) qualified full-time teacher to work out of Holy Trinity CSS, Courtice. The teacher will work with a team of support staff, SERTs, and Consultants to provide instruction and support for students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders in our schools. We are seeking a teacher who will be focused on supporting our strategic plan by “Building a Community That Accompanies” through ensuring equity and providing excellence in teaching and learning, which will effectively support excellence for all students in the CASA program.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH the current Collective Agreement, “The Board reserves the right to select candidates for teaching positions in congregated special education classes through an interview process.” Applicants to this posting MUST submit a resume package as outlined below.

REQUIRED
Ontario College of Teachers certification with:
Senior qualification
AND
Special Education Specialist (Part 3) OR Special Education Part 2 AND Autism elective
PREFERRED
